Became an associate member of ‘The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’ in June 1983 and was carrying on the practice as a proprietary concern prior to formation of partnership. He has a very wide experience in the field of accounts, income tax and finance. Presently, being non active partner, he is heading administrative controls in a private sector company. He has been representing cases in front of CIT.

Became an associate member of ‘The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’ in January 1990 and was carrying on practice as partner with a firm of Chartered Accountants in New Delhi before joining this firm. Holding Certified Course in Indirect Taxation and Certified Course on Concurrent Audit of Banks.
Worked with Corporates and Law Firms and advising them on key elements and strategy building.
He was elected to the executive body for year 1998-2001, 2001-2004 and 2007-2010 of the Chandigarh Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and elected as Secretary for the year 1999-2000. He has also served as the Vice Chairman of the Chandigarh Branch during the year 2002-03 and 2003-04.He served the Chandigarh Branch as Chairman during the year 2008-09 and was awarded as BEST CHAIRMAN by Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He has served as Secretary of Rotary Club Chandigarh Plaza. He was nominated to Professional Development Committee of Northern India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India during the year 2002-03.
He is a Nominated Member of Special Purpose Group 2008-09, of Company Law Study Group of Northern India Regional Council of Institute Of Chartered Accountants of India.
He is also a Nominated Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for “Education Committee of DJUBUTI Students in India.”
He has also been nominated as member of Examination Committee of ICAI of India.
He was convener of Chandigarh Panchkula CPE Study Circle for 3 year.
He was finance secretary of Virdeva Foundation a social organization for the cause of awareness of Thalassemia.
He was vice- president of ALL INDIA VAT FORUM.
He has an experience of Inspection, concurrent audit and statutory audit of Public Sector & Private Sector Banks, audits of Public and private sector companies, tax audit of various organizations and management consultancy. He is well versed with costs and internal controls and has an extensive experience in the field of finance. He has an experience of being an investigator for and on behalf of Insurance Companies.
